EUREKA has launched a new funding program called GlobalStars. With this they want to stimulate trans-border projects that develop new innovative technologies. Currently there are two calls for global cooperative R&D-projects between companies of The Netherlands (a.o.) and companies located in Brazil or India.
The EUREKA program focusses on market oriented research and development (R&D) projects in Europe. Twice a year there is an open call for project in which at least two European SME’s are working together on a project. This program is called Eurostars. Now they’re going global with GlobalStars, stimulating innovative projects with organisations from specific countries. Not all European countries provide funding however.
